I downloaded the new version of OS yesterday. After updating, I find that my LINE App crashes a lot. I restarted my phone, and it still crashes. In total I have had the app crash (completely close) immediately 6 times in 5 minutes. What is the matter? How can I fix it? You may come across the similar problem when using LINE. If an app seems to crash, unable to start, or has errors, users tends to uninstall it. But for LINE, you will hesitate because you still need to connect with your LINE friends. Now I want to show you how to fix if LINE crashes on your device. Part 1. Possible Reasons of LINE Crashes Part 2. How to Fix When LINE Seems to Crash Part 1: Possible Reasons of LINE Crashes Here are the several reasons that may cause the crash of LINE. When you have the same problem, you can eliminate causes until you find the exact reason and solve it specifically. 1. Too many Apps are on running. There are many Apps would stay open even you stop using it and you need to exit manually. It would be overloaded for the system to continue to work. 2. Too much caching and residual data on your device. When you search Internet, watch videos, using apps such as Kik, WhatsApp and so on, it can generate plenty of caching and residual data, which would cause the crash of LINE. 3. Never update Apps and OS version. Some Apps would release new data packets in the new version. Or the Apps could not compatible with the OS version. It can cause that you are not able to start the Apps. 4. Viruses attached to the LINE. It doesn't mean that Line carries viruses. It is probably that the some websites to download LINE is informal. So the secure software on your device would detect the viruses attached to Apps and stop its running. Of cause there are loads of other cases I didn't mentioned above, but these are the basic reasons and we can handle ourselves. Part 2: How to Fix When LINE Seems to Crash Tips 1. Exit the Apps that you are not using. When there is a crash on LINE, please exit other Apps you are not using and open LINE to try again. Tips 2. Restart your device. Actually, it can solve the problem almost in every scene. And if you don't want to exit the Apps one by one, you can just restart your device. Tips 3. Clean up the mobile phone memory. You can try to clean up the useless data by using the third-party software or clean up manually. After that, your device would get enough storage space to run the App. Tips 4. Update LINE and OS version. You can check the compatibility of your App and OS version first. If they are incompatible, you can download the new version of LINE or update your OS version to have a try. Tips 5. Download LINE from official website. Please download the app on the official website to avoid installing the one that carried viruses. For the situation like the description of LINE crash in the beginning of the article, the reason why LINE crashes is maybe because of the incompatibility between App and OS version. So maybe update the App or choose the compatible version of LINE would be a good idea! Kik Management Backup & Restore with Ease on Android By Ivy Bruce

Kik Messenger, a free charge instant messenger app, is very popular in the world. Just like WhatsApp and skype, people can send text, emojis and pictures to friends by Kik. But you may come across the problem of loss of chat history. It is very common because Kik is designed to protect users' privacy. Here is the reasons you can't find your chat history: 1.You reset your account 2.You login to your account on a different device 3.You delete your Kik app You can see the last 600 messages for recent chats in the last 48 hours on Android device with the latest version of Kik. And for the older chats, you can check the last 200 messages. But for an earlier version of Kik, or using the app on a Windows Phone, Symbian, or BlackBerry, you'll be able to see only the last 100 messages for each chat. So it is better to back up your chat logs which are important for you. How to do that? Here I will show you two methods: back up manually and back up with Android Data Recovery. Part 1. Back Up & Restore Kik Chat History Manually Part 2. Back Up & Restore Kik chat History with Android Data Recovery Part 1: Back Up & Restore Kik Chat History Manually Because you can't check chat logs more than 600 and it has a time limit, you need to figure out that if the messages are important for you and prepare to make a backup. Here I will provide you some ideas of Kik chat history backup manually. 1.Take screenshots of the chat history or use other device to take photos of the chat pages. It is a convenient way but may cost you some time because you need to operate one by one. 2.Make a video of the chat history. You can make a video of the pages of the chat logs by other device or a camera. But please take it carefully and don't shake your camera as much as possible. Part 2: Back Up & Restore Kik chat History with Android Data Recovery Android Data Recovery can make a backup copy of Android data and restore with ease. Please click "Download" button below and have a try! Step 1 Launch the Android Data Recovery and Connect Android Device to PC After you download the software, please launch it! Select "More Tools > Android Data Backup & Restore " option on the page and connect your device to computer via USB cable. But make sure to Enable USB Debugging the or you could not connect successfully. Step 2 Back Up the Kik chat History Please click "Backup" and you can see all the file types are shown on the page. Then choose "Application data". Here click the little blue circle next to "Application data" and choose "Kik", and then tap "OK" button on the pop-up window. Click "Backup" to start. Note: If you have used Android Data Recovery to make a backup before, you can also find the record by clicking “View backup history”. The software would keep the backup copy every time you back up data here. Step 3 Restore the Kik Chat Logs When the backup has been done, please click "View the backup". You can check the item on the left pane of the page. Click "Application data" and it shows the information including APK size which means the size of the App, and App data size. Please choose "Kik" and click "Restore". Note: The data in the App on the destination device will be overwritten when restoring data. So if you get the new different chat logs from the backup, it is better for you to back up the new chat logs first if you really need to restore the backup. If you back up and restore the Kik chat history manually, it could be really time-consuming and the information would be chaotic. But if the chat logs you need to back up are just several pieces, it may be a good way for you to make a backup copy. If you back up and restore data with Android Data Recovery, you can finish the job effectively. Because the records are saved and you can find it out easily. What’s more, it fits all the Android device models. So why not have a try? But if you have any questions about it, please feel free to contact us.

[Fix] Problems You May Meet with Kik on Android By Ivy Bruce

As a social messaging app, Kik has taken much people's heart. Thanks to this cute and well-designed tool, we can easily keep in touch with families, friends and even some long-lost friends. While we're enjoying the convenience it brings to us, there are some problems that may bother us. Here we glean 5 major troublesome problems along with the solutions. If you are beset by some Kik issues, come and make out how to fix them at this post. Issue 1. Why Can't I Register an Account? Issue 2. Why Can't I Log in? Issue 3. Why were my Chats and Contacts Deleted? Issue 4. Why Can't I Open or Save Images and Videos I Received? Issue 5. Why Can't I Complete my Purchase? Issue 1: Why Can't I Register an Account? When you're trying to create a Kik account and waiting for meeting friends on the app, it however happens to fail the registration. That's probably caused by a connection issue. This problem mainly raises when the network connection is bad, so you may have a try on the following methods. 1. Turn off your Wi-Fi or Mobile data connection and then turn it on after a while. 2. Find a stronger Wi-Fi connection somewhere else like your friend's home or a coffee shop. 3. Try to force close the app and launch it later. You can double click the Home button to show previews of apps and swipe left or right to find out and close the Kik app. 4. Uninstall and reinstall the app. (it works most of the time for most issues.) Issue 2: Why Can't I Log in? "Oops. This is taking longer than usual. Please try again." You may see a sentence showed as above after you spent long waiting for login, which means you've failed to log in your account on Kik. That's disappointing. However, same as the first problem, it is probably due to a bad network connection. Therefore, you might as well try a couple things like: 1. Toggle your connections off and on in your phone Settings or Notification bar. 2. Try to use 4G data instead of Wi-Fi network. 3. Try another Wi-Fi connection in a Coffee shop or library. 4. Force close the app and re-open it later. Issue 3: Why were my Chats and Contacts Deleted? Some users reported that they somehow lost chat history and contacts after Kik update. Kik officially claims that they are already working on it while no desirable solution is available now. Meanwhile, you may try to reset your Kik in order to get contacts back. Please ensure that you remember your password, or you may need to reset it by your email address. However, your chat history will be cleared, so be sure that you've read all the messages in the first place. After resetting the app, the list of saved contacts should be back when you log in account again. Since Kik don't store any of chats out of privacy, it's not able to retrieve chat history though. To reset your account: go to "Settings" > "Your Account" > "Reset Kik". Issue 4: Why Can't I Open or Save Images and Videos I Received? Sometimes it happens that someone sent you a picture but you fail to view it in full-size or save it in your phone. There are a couple of reasons why you might not be able to open and save images or videos. For one thing, picture or video fails to completely and successfully upload because of the poor network connection to which your friend's device was connecting. For another, your friend's phone didn't completely finish uploading the picture or video due to other reasons. Now, you have to either open the image or video again later or ask your friend to resend once more. Issue 5: Why Can't I Complete my Purchase? It is reported that when it comes to purchasing stickers in the app, some situations happen. You want to buy a sticker but find no ‘Purchase' button. Or, you may see a message that reads "You already own this item" when making a purchase. Actually, these are caused by a known bug in the Google Play Store, and you can try: Go to "Settings" app on your phone > "Apps/Applications manager" > "Google Play Store" > "Clear Data". Note that it won't clear or delete any apps from your phone. Next, launch "Play Store", tap "Accept" and exit it. Now leave and re-open the Sticker Shop. Most of the time, it works. However, if you still cannot purchase stickers, you may need to deleted and reinstall the Kik app. Have you ever met one of the situation as mentioned? We sincerely hope these helpful. If your friend is being troubled by one of these problems, just give him/her a hand. Just enjoy chatting on Kik!
