- Part 1: What Is Instagram Hashtag?
- Part 2: Why You Need to Use Hashtag?
- Part 3: How to Add Instagram Hashtag?
It is not true that the more hashtags you add the more users it can expose to. Instagram limits the number of hashtags to thirty in order to prevent photos from being mis-tagged. In other words, some of the hashtags are filtered to prevent spamming.
Instagram hashtag helps you to sort out the photos and video contents according to different theme and in this way, your photos or account would be exposed to large and targeted audiences with the right hashtag. People are able to see your photos by going through the specify theme. For instance, the Tinypeopleinbigplaces is one of the hashtags that the Instagram users would like to add when they want to express the idea - human is tiny when standing in the big world. And the hashtag Bwsociety would be used for the photos that are black and white. If you want to get more likes or attract more new followers, you surely need to make yourself more discoverable on Instagram and adding the relative hashtags would increase engagement so that the users can discover the contents.
