How to Shut off Annoying Useless Notification of Android

When using Android smartphone, you usually recieve some notifications. For example, if there is a new email in the box, a notification will pop up to inform you; If a new version of the app comes up, you will also get to know it from the push notification. When receiving a new chat message in Whatsapp, you can soon know it from the notification though you close the app. However, apart from some useful notifications like those mentioned above, you may get continous and useless notifications which are quite annoying. It will somehow disturb your life. You may wonder whether you can shut off these annoying notifications? Of course, YES. In the following article, we will show you how to shut off the useless notification of your Android and you don’t need to put up with the annoying notification any more.

Step 1 Choose “Application Manager” on Your Android
Get into "Settings" interface. Click “Application Manager” button, you can see all your Android apps listed in the interface, including the downloaded ones, the running ones and those stored in your SD card.

Step 2 Select the App You Want the Notification shut off
Select the app and enter the “App info” interface. There is a box located infrom of  “Show Notification” as below. Uncheck it and there will be a pop-up window asking you if you want to turn off notification: “If you turn off notifications for this app, you may miss important alerts and updates”. Click “OK” to turn off this notification of the app.
